A Hyde School Parent & Faculty Experience

This reflection comes from Hyde School parents Stephanie and John Woodman, who saw Hyde School's philosophy work firsthand through one son as a student and another in administration. Their story highlights how the values of character, truth, and potential shaped their family’s journey.

Hyde School Parent Story

Hyde School parents Stephanie and John Woodman sharing their family story: one son a student, another faculty/administrator.
Stephanie and John Woodman had one son attend Hyde and another son who was a faculty and administrator at Hyde

Our Hyde School experience was unique in that we had a son who attended Hyde and then another son who was part of faculty and in administration. We were able to be part of the Hyde family for quite a few years. We were challenged personally and as parents to determine : who are we, where are we going, and how do we get there. We felt privileged that Hyde School valued character development, truth above harmony and believed in teaching for your potential. As parents this philosophy at Hyde supported our beliefs. A Hyde School education is unique and valuable, even more so today.
